'George Fox 6' could be jailed over protest
Article Abstract:
A group of six students at Lancaster University face prison sentences of three months each for staging a protest on university premises against the "commercialisation of university research". Some fear that the case could set a precedent for dealing with student activism but the university contends that staff felt intimidated by the students and that it will not tolerate this sort of activity on campus.
