King's punished for closure
Article Abstract:
King's College London has lost out on a multi-million pound merger with the Medical Research Council's National Institute for Medical Research. University College London has secured the deal instead. It is believed that the reason why King's bid failed was due to its decision in 2003 to close its chemistry department.
