Radical aristocrat in a fight for freedom
Article Abstract:
It is vital to fight for the human rights of people who have been persecuted by the government of Belarus for expressing their views, according to historian Luba Luynevol, a lecturer at Belarus State University. It is currently very hard to find independent lawyers in Belarus, so she now attends court as a representative of the Helsinki Committee human rights group. She attends many anti-government protests as an observer, and is very keen to uphold the legal rights of young people arrested during these protests.

The fizz in college freedom
Article Abstract:
The US is home to a number of higher educational establishments called New American Colleges (NACs) which aim to inspire individuals and achieve high standards in education. Unlike other universities in the US, NACs are less burdened with management and administration. They ensure that all students study general studies and religion in addition to their chosen subjects. NACs are privately run and vary in size. Top-ranking research institutes admire the NEC's ability to encourage free-thought.
