U.S. loses out to rivals as graduate numbers fall
Article Abstract:
A report reveals that prohibitively high tuition fees and obstacles to access are resulting in a decreasing number of graduates in several American universities. Controlling costs, targeting programs beneficial to students, and including long-neglected groups of students are recommended to enable U.S. universities compete with their more successful international rivals in higher education.
