Sacked lecturer wins inquiry
Article Abstract:
David Rindos was dismissed from his post as archaeology lecturer at the University of Western Australia, but has won an inquiry into his dismissal. The University claimed that his performance was not adequate, while Rindos argues that he was not given tenure as a result of raising concerns over the behavior of the archaeology department head of the time, Sandra Bowdler. The inquiry will be held by the parliament of Western Australia, and will take a broad view of the issues related to the case.
