Too many laws: the ever-expanding criminal code
Article Abstract:
The different ways that federal criminal law has overstepped its proper limits by prescribing various punishments for offenses that should be handled at the state level or should not be considered as crimes at all, are illustrated. The constitutional principle of federalism and the notion of fairness are violated by most of these laws.
