Students all get As as tutors are laid off
Article Abstract:
First and second-year art students at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, (UWIC) have been informed that they will receive "A grades" for work that cannot be properly assessed as a result of the part-time tutors that would have assessed the work being laid off. Following the revelation, UWIC announced that the automatic A grades would not stand and that the students would be assessed on their performance since the two part-time tutors left.
