When is a neocon not a neocon?
Article Abstract:
Francis Fukuyama is critical of the neo-conservative ideology which he credits with formenting war in Iraq. Fukuyama's new book, 'After the Neocons: America at the Crossroads' attacks the Geroge W Bush Administration for the decision to go to war, saying the dceision was based on an exaggerated sense of American exceptionalism and a misguided faith in the country's ability to enforce democracy and offer international security in a post-9/11 world.

Article Abstract:
Roger Martin, president of Randolph-Macon College in northern Virginia, decided to spend a six-month sabbatical as an undergraduate at St John's College in Maryland. Martin found the experience to be very rewarding, only regretting that his anonymity on campus was lost when the media became aware of his project.
