Medics oppose research plan
Article Abstract:
Top academics in the medical field in the UK are trying to dismantle the government's new National Health Research Strategy, which they fear will force some medical schools out of the research sector. It is warned that the reallocation of research funding that is proposed by the strategy would make it difficult for some facilities to continue their work or attract and retain staff.
