Uncle Sam is innocent
Article Abstract:
To blame the United States of America for all of modern culture's ills is incredibly naive and only serves to oversimplify matters instead of bringing about a proper level of understanding. It is argued that while it should be possible to criticise America's domestic and foreign policy without falling prey to emotional abstractions and the demonisation of an entire nation and its peoples, in reality anti-Americanism has become the lazy person's method of looking at global change.

Forget reds under the bed, there's Arabs in the attic
Article Abstract:
The chair of the department of Middle East and Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University, New York, describes how fear of terrorism in the United States has resulted in him becoming the victim of a vicious hate campaign. He has been the victim of malicious email and voicemail campaigns, often exacerbated by newspaper articles written by a journalist called Daniel Pipes in which he has been identified as being anti-American, anti-Israeli and pro-terrorist.
