Article Abstract:
An analysis and rejection of the claims put forward in a documentary broadcast on Channel 4 in its Dispatches strand called "The Dyslexia Myth", in which it was contended that there is no scientific basis for dyslexia. It is argued that dyslexia is not just an issue about literacy, rather it is a neurological condition that affects the processing of information and the understanding of meaning.
