Right-angle DJ connectors
Article Abstract:
Kel Corp of Melrose, MA, has introduced a series of 1 mm-pitch electronic connectors. The DJ series of connectors features a surface-mountable design, a flexible right-angle architecture and a two-piece removable configuration. The connectors can withstand 300 V AC for one minute. Their other features include a 0.5 A rating per terminal, a 40-ohm contact resistance and an insulation resistance of 250 V DC at 1,000 ohms or more.

MI21 flash card connectors
Article Abstract:
Hirose Electric has introduced the MI21 connector series for use in the smooth ejection of Type II PC Cards and CompactFlash Cards. The MI21 features a push injection structure with two end points. It uses polyphenylene sulfide black resin for the insulators, gold-plated bronze for the card connection unit, stainless steel for the floating gates and solder-plated bronze for the reinforcing fittings.
