Security industry views IP- based systems, networks as safe bet
Article Abstract:
Electronic security systems are now using technologies like networking, Internet protocols and biometrics. The shift from a regular closed circuit television and camera device to more sophisticated devices converging various technologies in the security systems are discussed. Security systems launched by few companies like Sony, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Hitachi and Ikegami are assessed.
