The company, which intends to continue with the proven marketing strategy, is hoping to increase the sales of its car audio products by another 15% for FY2000. Matsushita is banking on the popularity of its Day and Night CD receivers and DVD players to make the target a reality.

Kenwood America steers car audio plans along right lane

Kenwood Americas Corp is in the process of developing a marketing strategy that will hopefully result in double-digit sales growth in the US car audio equipment sector, similar to what it was able to achieve in 1999. The company, which is celebrating its second decade in the US market, plans to include the D Mask Plus model to its Exelon line of car audio equipment. Kenwood deluxe Exelon and Mask series are credited for the company's improved sales.
