V Type FK chip aluminum electrolytic capacitors
Article Abstract:
Matsushita Electronic Components Co Ltd introduces its V Type FK series of chip aluminum electrolytic capacitors that offer very low impedance. The impedance is 1.35 ohms for the 4 mm diameter x 5.8 mm product, 0.36 ohm for the 6.3 mm diameter x 5.8 mm product, 0.16 ohm for the 8 mm diameter x 10.2 mm product, and 0.08 ohm for the 10 mm diameter x 10.2 mm product. The capacitance range of these products is 4.7 to 1,500 micro F, or 1.5 to 2 times the maximum capacitance of the company's earlier products.

Silmic II, Tonerex electrolytic capacitors
Article Abstract:
Elna Company Ltd has introduced the Silmic II and Tonerex line of aluminum electrolytic capacitors. These capacitors are intended to keep distortion to a minimum and improve sound quality. The Silmic II series is rated from 16 to 100V and at 0.47 to 4,700 microF. It uses silk and paper fibers for the separator and negative electrode film, resulting in excellent sound quality. On the other hand, the Tonerex is rated from 6.3 to 100 V and from 0.47 to 10,000 pF.

CE331 elliptic aluminum electrolytic capacitor
Article Abstract:
Nippon Chemi-Con Corp introduces its CE331 elliptic aluminum electrolytic capacitor that is capable of absorbing high ripple current. The product is aimed at electric vehicles and hybrid automobiles. Unlike conventional electrolytic capacitors which have cylindrical internal devices, the CE331 has a flat internal device. Sealed in an elliptic case, the new capacitor is available in two dimensions, namely 70 x 26 x 50-100 mm, and 64 x 36 x 50-100 mm.
