Swifts of Scarborough, designer and manufacturer of cable support systems, is committed to both quality and product innovation and has invested large sums in its cable support product manufacturing facility in Scarborough, UK. As well as spending over 1 million pounds sterling on new plant and equipment in 1991 and a similar amount in 1992, the company is involved in new product development and research. Swifts' quality assurance scheme satisfied the requirements of the BS 5750 Part 2 and ISO 9002 standards as long ago as 1988. The company also has its own hot-dip galvanising plants.

Where security means business
Article Abstract:
The International Fire and Security Exhibition and Conference (IFSEC) being held at Olympia in London, UK, from Mar 30, 1992 to Apr 3, 1992, will enable electrical contractors to find out about the latest security products from major UK and foreign manufacturers. Installers and contractors will also be able to attend free, hour-long installer workshops. Examples of some of the closed circuit television (CCTV) security systems, access control systems and vehicle security systems from more than 300 companies that will be exhibited at IFSEC are presented.
