Feigenbaum's enduring influence
Article Abstract:
Armand V. Feigenbaum, member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the International Academy of Quality, is known for introducing the concept of 'Total quality management' (TQM), a quality method previously known as, total quality control. TQM combines, management methods and organizational principles of economic theory in bringing out a doctrine, which in turn will result in commercial leadership. A historical perspective on the contributions made by Feigenbaum, and their usage, is presented.
