Rotary engine turns the corner
Article Abstract:
The Satellite rotary engine can produce more power, while reducing vibration because of its innovative new design. The engine has been designed by engineer Michael Rodrigues, who received up to $50,000 worth of funding to develop the new engine. The 36-part engine consists of four moving parts, resulting in each shaft revolution producing four power pulses. An expected efficiency rate of between 63% - 70% has been claimed by Rodrigues, who has been working on the engine since 1990.
