Article Abstract:
Parametric Technology Corp's amendments to its Pro-Engineer computer-aided design package indicate that the company is targeting the mainstream market. The new interface is much more user-friendly and the entry price is down to 5,500 pounds sterling per user. Users will find that many elements in the interface feel familiar, due to their resemblance to Windows packages, and they will find it much easier and quicker to access options.
