Environmental quality and sustainability in the province of Reggio Emilia (Italy): using multi-criteria analysis to assess and compare municipal performance
Article Abstract:
Twenty-five indicators were used to assess the environmental status of Italy's Reggio Emilia province. Findings show the region can be divided into two distinct categories, mountainous and river plain, and how economic and social constraints in the river plain region have hampered sustainable use policies.
