Greenhouse gas emissions abatement: equitable burden sharing
Article Abstract:
The political debate concerning the climate change has mainly centered around intergenerational issue of whether aggressive abatement action is necessary. However, recent improvements in scientific knowledge and precautionary principle have become more accepted, resulting in an emphasis on burden sharing in terms of greenhouse gas emissions. This study draws on carbon cycle modelling for strategies in reducing emission.

The importance of goods and services consumption in household greenhouse gas calculators
Article Abstract:
The author supports a shift in focus away from household fuel and electricity use and toward goods and services consumption in environmental and energy policy-making. Industrial production of goods and provisioning of commercial services consumes far more energy and produces far more emissions than household energy use.

Trace-gas greenhouse effect and global warming
Article Abstract:
Global warming has not only arisen from the influence of CO(sub)2 in the atmosphere, but from increases in non-CO(sub)2 gases which have contributed equally to global warming problems. Increases in both CO(sub)2 gases and trace-gases have increased the greenhouse effect by about 2% since the mid-19th century.
