Population dynamics and life history tactics of arthropods from Mediterranean-type ecosystems
Article Abstract:
The involvement of specific combinations of conservative and conformist traits for the survival of arthropods under the severe Mediterranean conditions is examined. The interplay among life history traits leading to skewing phenologies and stochastic equilibrium is described.

Local texture convergence: a new approach to seeking assembly rules
Article Abstract:
The texture within a number of communities is examined for the determination of the replication of community assembly in a functional sense in different patches within a community. Variations exist between quadrats within a site.

Expanding traditional views on suspension feeders - quantifying their role as ecosystem engineers
Article Abstract:
The suspension feeders are the most impressive ecosystem engineers. Bivalves suspension feeders have high individual filtration rates and promote the deposition of faeces and pseudofaeces.
