Article Abstract:

The factor space is discussed in a study as a means of improving the environmental performance of building projects, using indicators for space use efficiency, and methods for assessment of environmental issues such as ecological quality, use of building materials, and energy consumption. Solutions for improved performance through intensive and multiple use of space in the second, third, and fourth dimension are presented.
