A barrel of a party at Sonoma auction
Article Abstract:
The 13th Annual Sonoma County Showcase and Auction earned $351,205 to benefit wine industry farmworkers and other charities. The auction was disappointing in comparison with last year's, which earned $501,777. The Barrel Auction was the event's highlight.

Kunde Estate Winery in Kenwood, CA, is a family operation that has been producing first-rate Chardonnays over the past two years. The winery, which produced 30,000 cases in 1992, was founded more than a century ago by Louis Kunde.
