Some of the finest foods in Italy can be enjoyed in Basilicata, between Calabria and Pulgia, where the age-old ways of food preparation are still considered to be the best. One of the traditional dishes is the hand-made pasta, made purely from semolina durum wheat ground, along with many such hand-made traditional dishes can be found.
