Crostate: Italian sweet tarts
Article Abstract:
Crostate are similar to French tarts, with different crusts and fillings. Two pastry recipes are given, along with fillings that include custard, ricotta with chocolate and raisins, almond, rice, fig, prune, jam and pine nut.
