'Budget ... devastates programs for veterans.'
Article Abstract:
Rep. Lane Evans, Ranking Member, House Veterans Affairs Committee views the 2006 budget submitted by the White House as one of the most dishonest, disingenuous and insensitive documents he had seen in over two decades in Congress. He feels that the cuts imposed, would affect many of the oldest veterans of the United States and leave older and less severely disabled veterans with no place to go.
