Article Abstract:
The drug taxol, derived from the Pacific Yew tree, has been touted as a cure for the most intractable cancers, including ovarian. However, no one has yet to be cured by the drug, and it is very difficult to obtain. One ovarian cancer patients struggle to be placed in clinical trials is described.

If rock and roll can be said to have an exact date of birth it may be Mar 21, 1952, when disc jockey Alan Freed hosted the Moondog Coronation Ball in Cleveland, OH. The wild, raucous response to the still unnamed sound created a watershed event in rock history.
