North Carolina aims to cut energy usage

North Carolina plans to cut energy use in state buildings at least 20% by 2008. According to Larry Shirley, director of the state energy office, energy consumption should be stabilized. The state is launching Utility Savings Initiative for State Facilities, a program that will direct state agencies and public universities in reducing energy consumption.

Cell phone records help Virginia child support efforts
Article Abstract:
The features of the Division of Child Support Enforcement Cell Phone Records in Virginia are discussed. The program aims to obtain billing addresses and cell phone numbers for parents who are delinquent in paying child support. Since its inception in 2005, more than 375 parents have been located and are now required to pay child support.
