Payment due
Article Abstract:
A report by the Council of State Governments Justice Center shows that the victims and children of individuals released from prisons do not get the support that they are owed. Upon their release, former inmates are usually required to make payments to several agencies such as child support enforcement offices and probation departments. To solve these problems, several states have consolidated the debt collection process.
