A pitch for organ donations
Article Abstract:
A National Coalition on Donation advertising campaign is aimed at increasing the supply of transplantable organs. The American Heart Assn and the American Hospital Assn are among the coalition's members. The campaign's television and print ads encourage families to discuss the issue of organ donation before disaster strikes. Some 3,100 patients on transplant waiting lists died in 1994.
