Tunisia networks with other N African countries in a Healthy Cities Project, and also works on its own urban problems. Every city now has neighborhood networks to help implement city policies. Successes include clean drinking water in all urban centers, and 73% of all homes connected to water mains.

Three cities of Jordan
Article Abstract:
The Jordanian cities of Aqaba, Irbid, and Zarqa are a part of WHO's Healthy Cities project. Aqaba, focuses on environmental concerns including sewage disposal, recycling of solid wastes, and air pollution. Irbid's priorities include the rehabilitation of refugee camps into neighborhoods.

Innovations in West and North Africa
Article Abstract:
Two French-speaking health network has been established that include Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria in one, and Dakar, Senegal as the hub of the other. The work being done to create healthy cities in Rufisque, Senegal, Mohammedia, Morocco, and Nabeul, Tunisia is discussed.
