Conflict or diplomacy?
Article Abstract:
Research into the relationship between doctors and nurses providing wound care found a certain level of resistance from doctors when being introduced to new wound management techniques by nurses. This resistance could threaten the care of patients and is therefore important to overcome in a professional manner. Wound care nurses use a variety of strategies to deal with conflict with doctors, although some techniques were found to be ineffectual and sometimes detrimental to patient care.

From insult to injury
Article Abstract:
There is need for a focus on customer care by nurses to ensure that they do not provoke aggression in patients. Some nurses are condescending and rude to patients and the public as they are frustrated in their work. If patients feel that they are not in control they can become aggressive. It is nurses' responsibility not to let this happen.
