AMA urges nation to broaden public health perspective
Article Abstract:
Public health in the US needs to be addressed from a prevention and early intervention perspective rather than a massive health care outlay once theperson is seriously ill. Adolescent health problems can be addressed through behavioral factors in a comprehensive manner. Geriatric health problems can also be viewed in a comprehensive manner. Physical and health environments need to be evaluated for these demographic groups.
