Article Abstract:
Emergency medical technicians and emergency physicians can find a wealth of information about emergency medicine on the Internet. The American College of Emergency Physicians has a home page on the World Wide Web as do the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, the American Association of Poison Control Centers and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The emergency department at Massachusetts General Hospital uploads interesting cases to its website and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Hazardous Substances Data Bank also have sites. Addresses for various sites are included.

The X(ray) files: radiology resources on the Internet
Article Abstract:
Radiology has blossomed on the World Wide Web, which is very well suited for displaying visual images. There are hundreds of Web sites displaying high-quality digital anatomical images, including X-rays, ultrasound scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. Many sites also include text-based information as well. Addresses are given for the Web sites of the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the Society of Nuclear Medicine and the Visible Human Project.
