Are cell phones dangerous on the road?
Article Abstract:
The increasing use of cellular phones among automobile drivers raise the issue of safety hazards. Although cellular phones offer benefits during emergency cases, concern is raised about possible road accidents. A recent study has revealed that the risk of collision among cellular phone users is 34% higher compared to other risk factors. The most important safety measure is for drivers to take responsibility for the proper use of their cell phones.

Other drivers main source of driver aggravation: poll
Article Abstract:
A recent Drive for Life driver safety awareness poll revealed that aggravated driving is increasing each year as more men and women report that they are aggravated by other driversE behavior and aggressiveness. Aggressive drivers are second to drunk drivers as the biggest threat on the road and the younger the age greater the aggravation. Men are more likely to not use a seat belt while driving and also are more likely to drive when drunk.

New York state bans auto cell phone use
Article Abstract:
Issues are presented concerning the ban which has been imposed by New York state on the use of cellular phones by automobile drivers while the vehicle is in motion. The advantages and disadvantages of hands free phones are discussed.
