Case 33-2007: a 49-year-old HIV-positive man with anemia
Article Abstract:
A case study of a 49-year-old HIV-positive man, who had discontinued antiretroviral therapy 6 months earlier with rapidly progressive anemia, is reported. The patient was given treatment consisting of doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine and also packed red-cell transfusion for 125 days.

Article Abstract:
A case study of a 61-year-old man who showed a mediastinal mass, 4 cm in diameter on tomographic scan was referred to the thoracic oncology service for management of a thymoma. The patient was recommended preoperative chemotherapy with two cycles of cisplatin and etoposide.
