Who decides what is a safe workplace?
Article Abstract:
Issues are presented concerning a ruling by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in California which put the responsibility for deciding whether or not the workplace is safe with the employee. The ruling is discussed.

Issues are presented concerning the level of payments received by workers in compensation benefits between 1989 and 1998. The compensation benefits have declined for seven years in a row when compared with wages.
