Eating into resources
Article Abstract:
Patients should be constantly reassessed regarding their risk for developing bedsores, including nutritional aspects which play an important role in preventing patients becoming susceptible in the first place. Malnutrition in the elderly can be an early indication of possible bedsore predisposition and it must be acted upon when patients are admitted to hospital. Maintaining a clean environment for wounds to heal can be linked to the nutritional levels of patients.
