Finding affordable housing
Article Abstract:
Rising house prices are driving nurses out of the market, making affordable homes in suitable locations very difficult for nurses especially on a key worker salary. Many nurses have to consider other alternatives such as loans and mortgages, renting, shared ownership and joint ownership in order to find an affordable home, as limitations of government's Key Worker Living Scheme launched in 2004 has become more apparent.

Article Abstract:
The experiences of internationally recruited nurses (IRNs) and their mentors during a supervised practice programme at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are described.
