Charles Darwin and panic disorder
Article Abstract:
Two physicians believe Charles Darwin suffered from panic disorder complicated by agoraphobia. Darwin's illness began a few years after his voyage on the Beagle during which time he made many observations that led him to propose his theory of evolution. At the age of 28, he began experiencing sudden attacks of palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, and trembling. His symptoms came and went and seemed to be triggered by social events. During his 45-year bout with the illness, he went from being a world traveler to a recluse.

Effects of reconstituted high-density lipoprotein infusions on coronary atherosclerosis: A randomized controlled trial
Article Abstract:
The effects of reconstituted high-density lipoprotein (HDL) on plaque burden as assessed by intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) are investigated. The results have shown that short-term infusions of reconstituted HDL have not indicated any remarkable reduction in percentage change in atheroma volume or in plaque volume.
