Giving children a good start: a team of pediatric outreach nurses is helping young people to achieve their full potential.
Article Abstract:
The team of pediatric outreach nurses provides support to sick children as well as their families and the difference in the service is that they spend most of their time on the road providing continuity of care to children at home, at school or in hospital. The new Evelina Children's Hospital would house a neurology unit, a cleft lip and palate centre and specialist care for children with heart and kidney problems.
