Hair loss in women: it's more common than you may think

About two out of three women suffer temporary or permanent hair loss at some time in life. There is a female-pattern baldness caused by hereditary that is often permanent. Causes of temporary hair loss include medications, diet, stress or childbirth. Minoxidil and hair transplants are two treatments.

Benign breast lumps

Most lumps in the breast are not cancerous. Fibrocystic breast disease is one cause of benign lumps. Diagnostic techniques include physical examinations, mammograms and ultrasounds. A reduction in caffeine and salt can help relieve discomfort.
