Halcion and Seldane: how safe are they?
Article Abstract:
The sleeping medication Halcion should be used in low-dose forms for a term no longer than two weeks. Chronic use or over use can cause behavioral side effects. The antihistamine Seldane should not taken in combination with erythromycin of ketoconazole.

Blood thinners: how they prevent clots; when you may need one

Anticoagulants help prevent blood clots in those at risk due to irregular heart rate, an artificial heart valve, heart valve disease, atherosclerosis or thrombophlebitis. Three commonly used blood thinners are heparin, Warfarin and aspirin.
