CIA response to stress discussion
Article Abstract:
The UK Chemical Industries Association (CIA) has responded to the HSC Discussion Document on 'Managing stress at work.' The CIA feels that companies should take the issue of stress at work seriously, doing more to identify and manage the key causes of stress. It believes that there are some problems with the HSC's definition of stress, but agrees that stress is not an illness. It feels that the management and coordination of research into stress should be improved.
