Is there an effective treatment for neurally mediated syncope?
Article Abstract:
More research is needed to develop effective treatments for neurally mediated syncope. Syncope is the medical term for fainting, and neurally mediated syncope means the fainting is caused by a nervous system abnormality. For this reason, pacemakers and drugs that affect the heart may not be effective treatments.
