Kidney failure rates end 20-year climb
Article Abstract:
Rates for new cases of kidney failure appear to have stabilized in the past few years from 2005 after a 20-year gap of annual increases in incidence. The National Institute of diabetes, and Digestive and Kidney Diseases reported on 11 October 2005 that the rate for new cases of kidney failure in 2003 was 338 per 1 million seen in 2002, thus showing an optimistic sign of development.
