Lack of macrophage fatty-acid-binding protein aP2 protects mice deficient in apolipoprotein E against atherosclerosis
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on the adipocyte fatty-acid-binding protein aP2 which plays important role in the insulin resistance and lipid metabolism. Results indicate that aP2 can be expressed in the macrophages and its effect on the biological responses of these macrophages has been investigated.
