Making patient nutrition a top priority
Article Abstract:
The Healthcare Commission has started a major drive and had taken few major steps to improve the food provided to the patients by making it more nutritious and hygienic to make sure that the patients are able to eat the food. A proper management needs to be set up to monitor the provision of proper nutrition to the patients, which will hence result in the safety of the patients with a rise in the awareness of the various clinical risks among the people.

Taking steps to reduce falls
Article Abstract:
An estimated fifty percent of all patient safety incidents in England are connected to falls and the cost to the NHS is over a billion pounds a year. Despite the initiatives of the government aimed at reducing the incidence of falls, such as the 2001 National Service Framework for Older People, much more needs to be done particularly in spreading the understanding that bone health and falls are connected.

The concerns about binge drinking among the teenagers in the U.K. are rising. The young people should hence be educated in life about the dangers of drinking excess at an early age.
