A dam too far

Article Abstract:

Two proposed dams on the Narmada River in India have generated controversy because of possible environmental consequences. Sardar Sarovar dam in Gujarat state is probably too far along to be halted now, but the same is not true of Narmada Sagar dam farther upstream in Madhya Pradesh state. Opponents say the dams will force 200,000 people out of their homes and that water for irrigation will not be used as the Gujarat government claims. Another environmental issue in India concerns preventing air pollution from damaging the Taj Mahal.

Managing nausea

Article Abstract:

Chemotherapy treatment in treating cancer leads to possible side effect of nausea and vomiting and hence anti-nausea drugs are prescribed as a preventive method before chemotherapy based on the chemotherapy drug rating to cause nausea. It is found that most patients develop anticipatory sickness before chemotherapy or possibly under extreme distress in such cases, anti-anxiety medications are given, relaxation techniques or self-help strategies are also described.
